Proud American... NOT!!!

As Americans do we want our President to view themselves as a “a fellow citizen of the world” or as the leader of our nation who represents us in the world. America is a sovereign nation and should have a President who believes in our country as such.

Why is it that a Presidential hopeful is apologizing for our actions during World War II? “I know my country has not perfected itself . . . and there are times when our actions around the world have not lived up to our best intentions.” Does he not understand that on December 7, 1941 our nation America was attacked at Pearl Harbor? Could it be that Mr. Obama does not care? Let us not forget September 11, the Twin Towers, New York City… Could it be that Mr. Obama does not care that our nation was attacked just as it was in 1941.

“But I also know how much I love America” …Apparently not enough to defend America against all enemies foreign and domestic. If Mr. Obama truly loved America; Why does he apologize for defeating a Dictator who was responsible for the Holocaust? Why be against defeating those who were the aggressors on September 11? There is no doubt Marilyn Brannan is correct "Mr. Obama is ignorant of America’s history or there are intentional distortions designed to recast history so that America’s might, influence, and generosity are denigrated and forgotten."

Mr. Obama desires to be the Commander in Chief of our nation’s Armed Forces. Could someone explain why he failed to visit wounded American soldiers at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in southern Germany? He decided to bypass this opportunity when only he and his staff would be allowed to visit. Excuse please, but this does not sound much like a Commander in Chief of the United States of America’s Armed Forces.

Mr. Obama’s comments about bringing down the Berlin wall bring many questions to mind. Does Mr. Obama really believe that the people of Berlin brought the wall down by themselves. Apparently, Mr. Obama forgot the input of President Ronald Reagan and the negotiations, which took place with the Soviet Union. Apparently, Mr. Obama has also forgotten the assistance provided to Berlin until the wall did come down. Is Mr. Obama what we as Americans desire in our next president? Mr. Obama will not even admit that the recent surge in Iraq has been and is working very well. If you can truly give a heartfelt answer of "yes Mr. Obama is the right choice" then Lord God help us as a sovereign nation.

During the Paris France part of Mr. Obama’s trip while visiting a French president there was no American flag display. There is no known protocol to prohibit the display of the American flag when an American dignitary is visiting a country. Add to this, that he has removed the American flag from his refurbished 747 and if you do not see what is happening you really should take a second look. Ladies and gentlemen if you are an American and love the God given freedoms provided for you by our constitution you should be very concerned, very… very concerned regarding the future of our nation and its sovereignty.

The decision is yours to make… united we stand and divided we fall.
